Description

The Fieldcraft Instructor is responsible for providing pre-deployment training to approximately 5,000 personnel each year that will directly support various Overseas Contingency Operations to include but not limited to Operation:  Enduring Freedom.  The EOS requires additional full time contractor support as contingency skills instructors to augment its existing cadre of military instructors.  The Fieldcraft Instructor will provide training for the Fieldcraft classes in accordance with the class schedule and Fieldcraft subjects. Fieldcraft Instructors are authorized to conduct instructor duties in more than one area of instruction to include, but not limited to Counter-IED, Tactical Care, Marksmanship, Urban Operations, Mounted Operations, and Dismounted Operations to achieve mission success through coordination with Site Manager and EOS cadre.

Minimum Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with military personnel and other contractors in planning, developing, executing, instructing, and re-constitution of students and assets for classroom and field training portions of EOS courses.
As directed by the Site Manager, fulfill other Fieldcraft instructional duties or student supply and support training requirements.
Capable of teaching additional blocks of instruction with time to review and learn course material.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prior deployed experience in an uncertain or hostile environment
Proficiency in use of the following computer programs:  MS Office Suite (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); Adobe Acrobat 
Comprehensive understanding of military tactics, techniques and procedures for the tactical deployment ground forces

TRAINING, EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT REQUIRED:

Associates Degree is mandatory in order to obtain US Air Force Instructor certification.

UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS (AS APPLICABLE FOR CONUS/OCONUS POSITIONS)

Desired Requirements

Courses are held all year regardless of weather conditions.  Must be physically capable of standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 40lbs, and able to traverse over rough terrain.
