Description

Mission Essential is currently seeking Desk Officers to
support an operational and analytical program for an
Intelligence Community customer in the Washington
Metropolitan Area. Desk officers play a key role in
communicating and supporting operational requirements
and provide interface between customer equities at home,
in the field, and with other US Government agencies. They
support a wide range of operational and programmatic
activities to manage a geographic or transnational
issue; manage and track cases; draft, coordinate, and/
or monitor intelligence reports and production; provide
timely guidance, including identifying risks and proposing
mitigation strategies; conduct research and analysis
using customer tools and databases; and demonstrate
knowledge and/or proficiency in a geographical area or
substantive issue. This position requires an active Top
Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security
clearance with a polygraph examination – no exceptions.
A $1,000 referral incentive will be paid for
any referred candidate that Mission Essential employs on this program.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (or five years of
relevant work experience)
• Must have current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Prior certification in basic tradecraft courses
• Foreign field experience from at least two PCS tours or
extensive TDY experience
• Experience drafting intelligence products, including
cables
• Ability to analyze, present, and communicate
information effectively
• Ability to work well on a team and independently
