Mission Essential is seeking a recruiter to support business development work. The recruiting specialist will also recruit for live work as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and process linguists, cultural advisers, and language analysts for stateside and overseas positions 
  • Prospecting: cold calling, reviewing online resumes, posting jobs, sending email blasts
  • Coordinate language testing, medical testing, and background and credit checks
  • Complete security pre-processing and schedule travel
  • Work under the general supervision of a Team Lead, Manager, and Senior Director 
  • Networking: maintain current referral sources and relationships with candidates
  • Attend daily meetings to discuss updates/changes in contracts and processing
  • Enter candidates into ATS, track candidate information, and manage pipeline of candidates against Program or Proposal requirements
  • Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly recruiting goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Must be willing to meet recruiting goals assigned by management on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
  • Must have strong attention to detail and effective time management skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
Must have a flexible schedule as weekend or night work may be required at certain times

Minimum Requirements

  • Three to five (3-5) years of sales or recruiting experience
  • Excellent communications skills with extensive phone sales capability
  • Computer literacy in MS Office to include creating and managing spreadsheets in Excel
  • Experience using recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and ClearanceJobs to build a pipeline of candidates
  • Must be able to source for all current live and future business development Language Services work
  • Prior experience on effectively reading, evaluating, and breaking down information to decipher what is of importance on government proposal contracting documents

Desired Requirements

  • Prior government contract recruiting experience in the language/linguistic field is desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
