PDPC Medical Coordinator





The Pre-Deployment Processing Center (PDPC) Medical Coordinator provides administrative support to the PDPC Medical Team in order to prepare candidates and employees for overseas deployment. Responsibilities include: coordinating medical appointments, tracking medical results, conducting medical briefings, reviewing and submitting medical invoices, updating company database, finding medical resources for candidates, fielding and addressing ongoing questions and concerns, tracking various Operations reports and processes and integrating said tasks into coordinating and executing medical processes and procedures.    

  • Coordinate, schedule, and track candidates’ medical appointments  
  • Serve as the Medical Liaison
  • Coordinate efforts with candidates and various other departments (i.e. Security, Recruiting, Language, etc.) to educate, inform and address any issues or concerns as it relates to medical criteria and medical processing 
  • Update medical section of company database
  • Review and scrub weekly PDPC potential roster in preparation for final PDPC arrival/wave report    
  • Provide overview of PDPC/CRC medical processing and schedule in weekly medical brief
  • Collect and proof medical paperwork in preparation for off-site medical testing 
  • Serve as the POC to find resources for HOR candidates 
  • Archive medical files and documents
  • Coordinate Mental Health follow-ups with medical provider
  • Send out medical notifications 
  • Review, proof and submit medical invoices for weekly medical services
  • Train new staff members, as needed
  • Ensure strict compliance and adherence to HIPAA criteria and regulations

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Two to three (2-3) years’ experience in administration 
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Must be customer-oriented and culturally sensitive
  • Must be able to collaborate and work cohesively with team    
  • Must be eager and willing to learn
  • Must be proficient with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment

Desired Requirements

Exposure to medical field in any capacity is a plus
