Description

Mission Essential is currently seeking Mobile Exploitation Analysts to conduct forensic examination of high Priority Digital Media derived from mobile devices to include: full-Scope forensic examinations; logical and physical acquisition and analysis; steganography detection and analysis; large data set analysis and target language keyword search; forensic tool and script development; sector-level entity extraction; metadata extraction and analysis; network forensics and analysis.  The Mobile Exploitation Analyst generates forensic reports to customers and the Intelligence Community, and performs application and internet activities analysis to support source vetting, digital profiling, and other requirements.  He/she will apply both hardware and software reverse-engineering techniques to detect and identify unique attributes or modifications to known mobile device baselines and malware on mobile devices.  He/she will coordinate, develop and promulgate forensic and technical exploitation standards for forward deployed assets.  He/she will provide Subject Matter Expert-level technical support for federated partners, internal customer, and deployed platforms.

 

The Mobile Exploitation Analyst provides global technical exploitation response capabilities to include: deployable technical exploitation personnel to meet DHS & partner contingency requirements; expert multi-functional exploitation expertise.  He/she coordinates with partner organizations, as necessary, on MEDEX/CELLEX/VIDEX platform & training related issues.  He/she plans, integrates & executes full-spectrum technical exploitation plans, exercises, training and operations, and assists in the conduct of Site Exploitation (SE) activities; provides technical support to field collection and other operational partner elements to include diverse set of technical exploitation tools & tradecraft; hardware exploitation; firmware exploitation.  He/she assists in asset validation & credibility assessments by providing baseline assessments of mobile digital media, including but not limited to cellular telephones.

 

Minimum Requirements

·         Level 1: Bachelor’s degree, OR Associate’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of relevant experience

·         Level 2: Master’s degree, OR Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of relevant experience

·         Level 3: PhD, OR Master’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience, OR Associate’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of relevant experience

·         Level 4: PhD and 2 years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of relevant experience

·         Level 5: PhD and 4 years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience, OR Associate’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED and 12 years of relevant experience

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
