The Senior Operations Support Officer conducts planning for use of CITP Contractor personnel and manages administrative and logistics personnel in support of CITP analytic efforts. The SO coordinates with other CITP Branches, NGIC staff sections, CENTCOM, and other activities as necessary to coordinate CITP operational efforts and deployment of CITP personnel. In the absence of the PO or SPO, the SO works closely with the NGIC government CITP PM, COR and Operations Technical Monitor to coordinate operational support activities. The SO performs his/her primary duties at the NGIC and is not considered deployable, but may be required to travel on a short-term, temporary basis to CONUS an OCONUS locations to coordinate CITP operational requirements.
• 8 years of experience coordinating and managing operations in support of military forces, including planning and managing training, pre-deployment, deployment, sustainment and return of deployed and CONUS-based personnel
• 3 years of experience supporting or conducting counterterrorism, counter insurgency or counter IED analysis and targeting activities.
• A background as a military operations officer or NCO at the Battalion or Brigade level is desired. experienced with JWICS , SIPRNET and NIPRNET tools and databases used to support operations. working knowledge of Microsoft® Office® tools, including SharePoint®.
